Baku. Azerbaijan exported in January-September this year, oil and gas production totaling more than $ 8.62 billion, or $ 418.9 million or 5.3% more than in the corresponding period in 2011. The share of oil and gas exports amounted to 96.1% of the total volume of commodity exports, which is 0.2% more than in the previous year.
According to balance of payments, the total volume of oil exports during the reported period $ 7.8 billion (in the first quarter of 2011 - $ 7.5 billion) or 94% accounted for crude oil, and $ 416.9 million was the share of petroleum products. The export of crude oil produced by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) oil was $ 7.4 billion ($ 7.1 billion). During the reported period, other companies of the country exported oil at $ 423.5 million ($ 372.4 million), including $ 385.6 million ($ 359.8 million) by the State Oil Company. The volume of gas exports for the three months amounted to about $ 319 million (for the comparable period of 2011 - $ 399 million).
