Armenian IT specialists have developed a mobile application for reading coffee cups. This application was for the first time demonstrated to the visitors to DigiTec Expo 2013 in Yerevan (Oct 4-6, 2013). The author of the idea is Seda Muradyan, and the application was developed by X-Tech in 2013.
The given application allows users to apply to real fortunetellers. The "prediction" is made on the basis of the pictures taken from the cup the user has drunk his/her coffee from.

To make use of these services, one needs only to launch this mobile application and register on www.fortunecup.am. Then the user should send the photos to the fortunetellers. The user can select a fortuneteller from the website list of fortunetellers. After sending the photos, the user will receive a message with a four-digit code and a short number, to which the received code is to be sent. Afterwards, the user will receive a message telling his/her fortune. The fee for the service will be levied from the mobile account of the user. Privacy is guaranteed.
