Rostelecom has summed up the results of "New Opportunities for Students" project and has offered the winner to choose one of the company's branches to undergo a 3-month internship there. Based on the results of the internship the winner may be offered a job in Rostelecom. The press-service of the company has told ArmInfo that the participants of the project have been given certificates at the final meeting.
This project is being implemented in Armenia for the second year in a raw. This time 20 students from 7 HEIs have participated in the project. These students received an opportunity to attend interactive training courses led by the employees of Rostelecom.
During the seminars the students got familiar with the specifics of the operation of the offices, underwent trainings on various topics such as communication, marketing, branding, juridical issues, sales skills, optics and network solutions. They have presented their vision related to various fields of Rostelecom's activities, participated in a number of team contests and made new friends.
"I strongly believe that students develop high quality staff, and one becomes knowledgeable through experience and practical knowledge. Through our project, students gain self-confidence and perspective on office work in a large company, which, I am sure, will be very applicable in their future work. It is noteworthy that 5 students participating in the last year's contest have already started to work in various departments of Rostelecom", said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Farmazyan.
To note, students of the 3rd and 4th year studying for Bacherlor's degree, as well as Master's degree students from all the Armenian HEIs were eligible to participate in the project.
