The PACE Bureau has declined the Azerbaijani delegation's draft resolution to suspend the Armenian delegation's voting rights at the Assembly, reports a source from the Armenian delegation.

To remind, during a meeting of the PACE Executive Committee on 22 June the Azerbaijani delegation submitted a draft resolution "On imposing sanctions against Armenia for keeping the Azerbaijani territories under armed occupation" authored by member of the delegation Elkhan Suleymanov. Suleymanov's office told APA that the draft resolution demands imposing sanctions on the Armenian delegation until "the occupation of the Azerbaijani territories comes to an end," particularly, suspending its voting rights at PACE and dismissing it from PACE's governing authorities.
