The key reason why the Armenian authorities are behaving like ostriches is that their boss is going to leave them, political expert Saro Saroyan told journalists on Friday.
"Russia is gradually withdrawing from Armenia for which it has agreements with the West. So, very soon the Armenian authorities will be left alone. This is why they are panicking," Saroyan said.
He said that by agreeing to join the Eurasian Economic Union, the Armenian authorities left their country to the mercy of fate. The Russians picked it up but after the events in Ukraine, they realized that they will not be able to resist the West.
Saroyan believes that losing an old boss does not mean looking for another. He advises the Armenian society to stop thinking as slaves and not to look for new bosses in the West
