Based on its commitment to the society, VivaCell-MTS summed up its expenditures directed at implementing social investment projects throughout 2014, in frames of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The press office of VivaCell-MTS has told ArmInfo that institutionalized within the Company from the first day of inception as a key strategic approach, the CSR is always taken into account in the design and implementation of the short- and long-term activities of the Company.
In total, in 2014, VivaCell-MTS allocated AMD 2.045.000.000 for implementing social projects in the following areas:
1) Education - AMD 670.008.0002) Culture - AMD 690.800.0003) Environmental protection and education - AMD 190.000.0004) Healthcare - AMD 237.792.0005) Community development- AMD 135.000.000 6) Promotion of sports and healthy lifestyle - AMD 121.400.000
Additionally, in 2014 VivaCell-MTS sponsored a number of significant activities and events, such as the Armenian national football team, celebrations of the 2796th anniversary of Yerevan city, the celebrations of William Shakespeare's 450th anniversary, the "Great Champions" and "100 seconds" projects, with the total amount of AMD 252.000.000.
Thus, the total investment made by VivaCell-MTS into CSR and sponsorship projects in 2014 made AMD 2.297.000.000.
