Tbilisi. NATO Week will be opened today in Georgia. The State
Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Alexi Petriashvili, and
the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy will open an
international conference "Way to NATO: Share of Experience of Central and
Eastern European Countries", BPI portal reports.
The conference will be attended by the
Bulgarian Atlantic Club President, former Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon
Passy, Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister, the Estonian Deputy Foreign
Minister, Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania, the British Ambassador to
Georgia, the Polish Ambassador to Georgia, etc.
On the second day of the week, on April 8,
presentation of a brochure ''Georgia's participation in peacekeeping
missions" will be held. The Parliament's National Library will host an
exhibition titled "History of Georgian troops.
