Armenia will experience labor and student protests, as well as other mass events and processions against the compulsory component of the accumulative pension system, Arman Avetisyan, a member of "I'm Against" initiative, told journalists.
"There is also an idea not to pay the utility payments. The students concerned about the pension reform have also suggested some methods of fighting the pension reform. We are also planning to hold a day of civil disobedience", he said.
The members of the initiative think that the new law on accumulative pensions creates serious problems hindering Armenia's development. "They take away the people's money and take it abroad. The citizens of Armenia are simply being robbed. There is no guarantee that the money will be returned to the people", said Avetisyan.
