New posts may be created in the Armenian Government soon. Particularly, the new Prime Minister will have three deputies, reports Hayatsk newspaper.
Referring to own sources, the newspaper says that the First Deputy Prime Minister will be current Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan will be appointed as Defense Minister, Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan as Chief of Police, Khachik Asryan from the youth wing of the Republican Party as Minister of Emergency Situations.
According to Armenia's Constitution, once coming into power, a newly elected President should appoint as Prime Minister a person enjoying the confidence of most of the MPs. The new Prime Minister has 20 days to form a government.
The current Prime Minister of Armenia is Tigran Sargsyan, his deputy is Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan.
