An unknown person – reportedly a native of Central Asia or the Caucasus – killed a young man before the eyes of his girlfriend in Moscow's Zapadnoye Biryulyovo district. A group of locals gathered in the streets to demand an early inquiry, but very soon their demonstration turned into disorders. Almost 400 people were detained as a result. Six policemen were injured.
President of Russia's Migrants Federation Mukhammad Amin has recommended all migrants not visit public places in Moscow to avoid possible attacks.
