From February 18 SCR Runs Gyumri-Sanahin-Gyumri Train

From February 18th South Caucasus Railway runs Gyumri-Sanahin-Gyumri electric train. The train will run daily: departure from Gyumri at 7:10 am, arrival in Sanahin at 9:48. In the opposite direction the train will depart at 15:10 and arrive at Gyumri station at 17:36, the company's press-service reported.

In connection with the new trains the time of departure of Gyumri-Yerevan and Yerevan- Yeraskh trains also changed. So, from February 18th the train from Gyumri to Yerevan will depart daily at 8:35 and from Yeraskh station at 7:10.

Due to the absence of passengers Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan train schedule is also changed. Stops at Bagravan station and Shirakavan platform are canceled.

CJSC "South Caucasian Railway" is a 100% subsidiary of JSC "Russian Railways" and provides concession management of Armenian railroads.  CJSC "Armenian Railways" was referred to the concession management to the company "SCR" according to the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. The term of the concession management is 30 years with possible extension for another 10 years.
