The meeting of the Russian delegation and representatives of Armenia took place in the National Assembly building of Armenia, in the Parliamentary Club of friends of Russia and Armenia, on 22 May 2014. The meeting discussed problems of the migration policy in the context of Eurasian integration.
The Russian delegation was headed by the leader of Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky. The head of the State Migration Service of Armenia, Gagik Yeganyan, representatives of the profile structures, members of the parliament as well as experts of the public and political sector took part in the discussion from the Armenian party.
Within the frames of the sitting of the Club, its participants will discuss a wide specter of issues regarding the migration cooperation of the two states, as well as Armenia's joining the Customs Union and United Economic Space. They will also touch on the latest alterations to the migration legislation of both countries, as well as training and certification of migrants, getting dual citizenship, and the problems of temporary staying of migrants at the territory of Russian Federation.
The Parliamentary Club of Friends of Russia and Armenia was opened on 3 December 2013. The Club was initiated by chairman of the CIS Union of Youth board, Andranik Nikogosyan.
