Four activists of the protest action against Russia's actions in Ukraine, held in front of the building of Russia's Embassy in Armenia, have been detained.
As Arminfo correspondent reported, one of the activists was flying the flag of anarchists. Policemen asked fir his documents, but the activist abandoned their demand and was detained. Later another three activists were also detained.
The police formed a human chain in front of the embassy building. They did not allow the activists to approach the building, and pushed them away from the embassy.
Secretary of the Heritage party, Stepan Safaryan, a journalist Gayane Arustamyan, ecologist David Sanasaryan and an activist Karo Egnukyan took part in the protest action. They were flying the flag of Ukraine and chanting "Putin - fascist!".
Yerevan Deputy Police Chief Valeri Osipyan arrived near the Russian Embassy building. He said that the four activists were detained for impeding the embassy’s work and disobeying the lawful requirement of the police.
