Baku. The State Securities Committee will hold on August 24 a presentation on the experience of the securities market of Lithuania, Turan was told in Baku Stock Exchange (BSE).
In the BSE they said Baku is being visited by the delegation of the Association of Brokers of Lithuania, which is scheduled to meet with the management of BSE, Azerbaijani counterparts, as well as some issuers.
In Azerbaijan, the stock market is still in its infancy. Only this week BSE completed its connection of brokers to the stock reporting system. With this system, the exchange members can distantly provide customer orders to buy or sell securities, as well as reports on these transactions. Last week, the BSE management discussed with the delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) prospects of the stock market in Azerbaijan. This meeting was held in preparation of ADB's strategy for the country in the years 2013-2016.
