Tbilisi. On Monday, May 21, first deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nikoloz Vashakidze disproved Georgian mass Media information as allegedly Georgia and the USA were holding talks in imposition of new sanctions against Iran.
Four resolutions of the UN Security Council, envisaging sanctions regarding Iran, are in force. Besides, some countries and organization have passed different resolutions, demanding from Iran to ensure complete transparency of its nuclear program and prove its peaceful aims.
"No any new talks are held with the USA. On the whole, Georgia supports policy, formed in the UN corresponding resolution and implements them consequently", Vashakidze noted at the briefing.
