Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
Armenia's Transport and Communication Minister Manuk Vardanyan told journalists on Thursday that he might quit the Orinats Yerkir party.
"As far as I understand, Orinats Yerkir has been dissolved and will be reorganized. So, we'll see what happens," Vardanyan said.
He refused to comment on the rumors that the Prime Minister is not satisfied with his work.
The leader of Orinats Yerkir Artur Bagdasaryan has decided to dissolve the party and to organize it again, but this time to set tougher admission requirements. The point is that as many as 150,000 people were believed to be the party's members before the elections, but only 80,000 voted for it.
