Ameriabank has introduced a new deposit "Perfect" under slogan "Freedom to Achieve More." Ameriabank Development Director Tigran Jrbashyan told media Wednesday that the new deposit gives an opportunity to customers to get interests as suitable: either when registering the deposit or at the end of the deposit contract. Minimum deposit limit is 100,000 AMD or 300USD (300 EUR). The annual interest is 10.5% for AMD deposit, 7% for USD deposits and 6.2% for EUR deposit. The interests for the end of the deposit term are as follows: 11.9%. 7.5% and 6.7%, respectively.
"A customer receives interests of an additional day per month or 12 additional days annually. Depositors of the bank can extend their deposits on the new terms if there is 2 months left before expiry of the deposit term and without losing the interests accrued," Jrbashyan said. He added that Rosgosstrakh-Armenia Insurance Company insures the deposit.
Ranking of Armenian Banks prepared by ArmInfo Agency says time deposits of Ameriabank totaled 69.5 billion drams as of April 1 2012 with 21.1% growth versus April 2011. Personal time deposits in total made up 35.5 billion drams.
